Hey! I am on FIRE regarding a PERFECT EXAMPLE of corporate greed over customer care and then shuffling the responsibility of the resulting negative feedback to land on the shoulders of the worker bees who can do nothing about changing the policy. This involves a simple event regarding CVS. I ALWAYS respond to their 'How was your visit to our store' inquiries, mainly because the employees of my local branch have always been outstanding and as helpful as they can possibly be. This time, however, they implied that regardless of the REASON for the '5' rating they would 'IMMEDIATELY ADDRESS' what they consider to be a FAILURE of those employees to fix an unknown problem they didn't even know I had... and the response I give to Jon Robbins who responded to my survey represent the intended BONES of this proposed assault follows right behind his response below. I rated the 'Experience' at the branch as a '5', and explained in the 'Additional Comments' section what generated this rating. Read the following if you would, and tell me what you think....

I’ve personally reviewed your feedback and will be taking immediate action to resolve this issue. Going forward, our team will be improving future visits and making your experience easier.

I will pass on your feedback to our upper management. Unfortunately, the rating of 5 goes against our staff and store standards regardless if you have no issues with our store. Our customer service number is 800-746-7287 if you have any concerns outside our store operations. I appreciate your feedback.

Providing great customer care is a priority for us and your feedback helps us better our efforts. I would be glad to connect with you over the phone if you have additional thoughts or recommendations. Please respond with the best date, time and phone number to reach you. This response of yours only further solidifies my determination to refrain from financially approving or participating in your endeavors.

The staff did not generate my negative evaluation of your corporate policy r/t the COVID moneygrab.

I understand you are in the business for the money, but sadly, you have put your politics before your integrity and then want to chastise (at the very least) your Frontline workers for the results of a corporate decision they are helpless to change.

What we know now about the Pfizer product and its eagerly stripping away proper testing for the love of money - and they are not the only one - shows out as grossly callous, and greedy. But how are YOU standing up for those customers who trusted you? At what point do YOU put YOUR foot down and bravely go against the political current? When over time you could have been recognized as a Hero even though on the short term it might have caused some financial pain, you simply went along to Get along. You simply couldn't turn away from the money. ...And NOW???

You are going to use my response (5) to evaluate and negatively impact your 'worker bees' in my local branch of your store. I am certain I will not respond to any future evaluations of any future visits. And I WILL be visiting the store in the next few days to apologize to them for getting them caught up in MY CHOICE to use that previous visit eval to try and shake your tree.

My approach is to do some research of specific examples that I have read regarding CVS' corporate 'Go Along to Get Along'. If I can find them (I've just noticed them in passing, but one fairly recent event, if I am remembering correctly, revealed CVS making the Vaxx mandatory for their employees, failure to comply to result in termination. I thought that was sh*tty then, but there were other things over time before this occurred that had already begun to turn away my interest in purchasing things from them . As I said... let me know what you think about whether it would be worth some news feed space.
